Chenin Blanc

Established in 2020, the Research Block is planted to eight different grape varieties that lend themselves to blending experimentation, ensuring the quality of Napa Valley’s wines in an ever-changing climate. 2023 Estate Chenin Blanc is the culmination of years of dedication from the Solari family and the Larkmead team.

Our inaugural release of Chenin Blanc is a wine of balance and elegance, with vibrant acidity and a bright, clean profile. It balances light oak richness and thanks to its roundness and complex, tropical nose. On the palate, it sets itself apart with a fresh, juicy tartness and layers of green apple, pear, and lime leaf. This bottling is both lively and sophisticated, a reflection of unique terroir of the organically farmed vineyard and the dedication and visionary thinking that has defined Larkmead for generations.
